The Slide Knot
Simply attach one end of the line to your boat, and the other end through your Slide Knot. Then, attach your Slide knot to a beach anchor, mooring cleat, etc. Pull the line through your Slide Knot until the line is taut. It's that easy.
The Slide Knot can also be used without a carabiner clip, just the Slideknot and a rope.
The mooring line slides freely in both directions when holding the lever down. When the lever is released, the cam-lock mechanism grips the line securely at the position you desire. The length of the line can still be adjusted simply by pulling the free end of the line.
The Slide Knot can also be used on an anchor line for easy and quick length adjustment. Attach your Slide Knot to your anchor line. Attach a carabiner (clip) and a float (buoy) to your Slide knot and clip to your boat.
As a safety precaution, it is recommended that a hitch knot be tied at the free end of the line in the unlikely event of rope movement.
The Slide Knot will accept dockline sizes from 1/4" to 5/8"
